Overview

This workshop looks at participants’ personal/management style in a confidential, non- threatening manner, which helps target areas for self-improvement.  Participants discuss and work through six critical steps for dealing with poor staff performance. The session goes on to identify 12 common, ‘difficult’ personality types and provides strategies on how to deal with them successfully.

Level

This course is designed for new or experienced managers with challenging staff who wish to manage these staff more effectively. The style is participative and case studies are used to illustrate points made.

The difference between assertive behaviours and non-assertive behaviours
