Overview

This workshop is for participants who wish to develop their staff more efficiently. It covers the assessment of staff development needs and how to meet those needs. Participants will be introduced to a successful method of delegation and coaching, as well as the methodology of coaching.

Level

This course is designed for anyone who has the responsibility of developing staff. The style is participative and case studies are used to illustrate points made.

Outcomes

Delegates will understand what is involved in assessing and meeting development needs; the principles and some of the details of organising training and how to evaluate such training. Delegates will also be introduced to an effective method of delegation and coaching, the styles and ground rules of coaching and details of the coaching process.
