Overview

This workshop introduces staff to the concepts of supervision, identifies the functions likely to be performed by a supervisor and examines the skills needed in the role. Participants will also have the opportunity to consider their own strengths and areas for development as potential managers.

Level

This course is designed for newly promoted, or soon to be promoted, supervisors. The style is participative and case studies are used to illustrate points made.
